Well, that was fun! Hundreds of singers and many more followers, parading through town, and massing outside Clifford's Tower, to celebrate 800 years of York being a free city. I stayed to the end to hear the various individual choirs do a song or two each. All very good!

Just had a quick soak in a not-so-hot bath. Now have hot chocolate to make up for it.
