I LOVE Chinese food more than anything, but nothing with test tenticles

I love squid, and most sea food, but this stuff is foul! Doesn't taste of squid, just tastes of MSG, salt and cardboard from the compost bin.

Bloody awful weather here.
Got wet going to work, drenched on the way home and soaked while I was sorting out my chain.
Having to surround some nice warming Islay single malt. It's a tough life I lead.

Not just Chinese food over here, either.
I just wish we'd spent longer in Shanghai - much preferred the food to much of what we had in Beijing.

It's finally stopped raining here ... 13 hours after it started. Might actually stand a chance of getting the dog to go outside now. Why is it she'll go swimming in the sea when it's so cold that the rockpools have frozen over ... but won't go out into the garden when it's raining, even in summer?

Hope you warm up soon, TD: no single malt here, but I do believe there's a very large mug of hot chocolate in my immediate future.

I have noticed that since my car has been wrapped in a tarp more drivers park outside my driveway gates! The rest of the road is still empty but they choose to park across my gates and then go elsewhere.
