Nah, nothing of the sort.
There's no table.;)

Currently just had a lovely lunch of salad with feta, smoked salmon and pork pie.

Also have 'Adventures In Babysitting' on C5!:hyper:

Three of the major food groups....

Very yummy it was too! And now, :cuppa:

Had smoked salmon last night - the lightly smoked fillets. Wrap them up in lightly buttered foil with a slice of lemon and a splosh of Scotch, bake for 20 mins or so. That gives you time to cook some potatoes and veggies and make hollandaise sauce. Oh, and open some white Burgundy or other white wine that goes with fish - Vinho Verde is good with this.

We only had a pack of cheap smoked salmon trimmings as it was going to get lost in the salad anyway.

We've just made two batches of dough, one lot for flat breads to have with curry tonight, and one to make into a bloomer.
I guess I am the kneedy one in the relationship!:giggle:

I reasoned that baking bread now would give us bread for breakfast tomorrow.

On reflection, I may have made a grave miscalculation. I mean, there's a whole evening between later today and tomorrow...

I kneaded a bit of dough into this earlier.

And then baked it into this. Yet to investigate the insides but it sounds good to the tap!

We also made some flat breads to go with beef curry tonight.

You've got me wanting to fire up the breadmaker now.
I don't actually need any more bread, but it does taste good.
I've just had some poached apples. Same as poached pears, but I didn't have any pears.
Peel and slice apples.
Put in pan, add mulled wine. I still have a couple of bottles I got cheap after Christmas.
Bring up to boil, turn off heat, leave till they've cooled down.
Boiling them gets shot of most of the alcohol, but does get the flavour into the apples :hungry:
