The baby squids were ok. The tripe was ok, just, but I prefer trotters. (which was last week's experiment).

Well, my nose is getting a bit snotty now and I am feeling really tired, like. There's a tickle in my throat too and I think my nose might be getting a little red. I am feeling a bit weak at the moment, I can barely manage to pick up my glass of whiskey....

I ought to say "Pah, that's a lot of sexist nonsense, and I don't hold with it, whether aimed at men or women." But on Thursday morning, when I got into work, having had a headache all night (well, I woke up a couple of times and had a headache then), and the beginning of a sore throat, I was greeted by my boss who said "I'm working on the round today, because XXXXX has rung in sick, with a cold...."

Aw, diddums.

*To be fair, both my boss and other male colleagues do try and make it in, whatever. There's just one weaker link, so it's a big unfair to lump all men together in that respect.

Just testing the efficacy of a hot toddy. But I reckon ice cream has been the winner.
