Ok tea folks, bearing in mind I have no funds available for a triban 3 what do you think of this?

If it's the right size then yes, go for it!! Shimano 600 was a very capable set of kit in it's day - 600 was rebadged as Ultegra. Personally, I'd swap the brakes out for modern dual pivot (or at least the front one) as brakes really have improved out of all recognition, but the bike itself should be sound. Steel is, as they say, real.

Take 8 ounces plain flour, 4 oz soft brown sugar, 3 oz butter and a finely chopped cat...
Before you chop it, it helps to bash it a few times with a rolling pin...
