Has anyone got any :cuppa: that is known for its propensity to alleviate Discombobulatetednessism?

This is my diagnosis of wot I have got. Every time I make plans to do something, some one does something that mucks up those plans. If I ask someone to do something, I have to wait months for them to do it, or even years. However, if someone wants me to do something for them, I am expected to do it yesterday.

When I plan to do something, that involves no one else at all, the weather conspires against me.

I am not entirely sure that bright blue icing would in any way relieve discombobulatednessism.

I think I will do a bit more gardening. I started this morning, then got rained on a bit, then did more gardening, then got rained on a lot. Then I will have a bath, and then watch the Veulta.

I managed a walk to see Spandex, via the sandwich shop where I got ham and egg sandwiches for breakfast, and the chemist for more pain killers.
Spandex is doing well, it was good to see him and chat again, it has been a while.

I then got a black cab, from the taxi rank, to take me to meet Arch at work where we had lunch.
I have just finished labeling all her shoulder and hand bags, her shopping bags, and her belts, for the craft stall tomorrow.
Just enjoying a sit outside now listening to glass being dumped into the skip.

Arch will drive me to the NHS Walk In Centre when she has finished work. Hopefully I can get my 'gout' diagnosed and treated.

Time for a :cuppa: in a bit.

Do you mind? That was my latest work, Symphony in Silica, for massed bottles and string quartet.

Philistine...

(I can say anything I like about him, he's asleep on the bed. I've prepared a cold compress a la the instructions of the clinic nurse, but it would be a bit cruel to apply it just at the moment...)

More takeaway dinner tonight. Chips perhaps.

I am awake again and looking forward to fish and chips, and possibly a battered sausage!:hungry::mrpig:
Arch is out doing the hunter gatherer bit.

The NHS walk in service was very good, only about 5 minutes wait after booking in. I was impressed with the carparking, not too expensive at £3.80 for 2 hours and wheels chairs available for a £1 deposit just like shopping trolleys at the supermarket!
Anyway, I have Codine phosphate, to ease the pain, and instructions to put my feet up and rest for at least a couple of days.
So tomorrow I will be 'staffing' a stall for Arch while she demonstrates how I convert umbrellas into shopping bags.
