I would, if I had them to hand.

I am replacing the laminated stator from a small motor (the one in the blender for the pedal powered smoothie maker) so the armature is exposed to rub on the sidewall of the tyre.

I think I will just bore out, on the lathe, a bit of aluminium bar I have.

My boss is a fan of Man V Food on telly, and has a wild idea to do a road trip in the States, visiting places mentioned in the series. One of them is a doughhnut shop:

Please note, they do a doughnut with maple frosting and BACON on it!

I'm not sure whether to xx(, :hungry: or
Odd mixture. A bit like the pancakes with maple syrup and hash browns I was served in Canada once.

Yes, I've had the bacon-and-maple-syrup thing, and that works ok. It's the doughnut bit that perplexes me.

I think I'd rather have the bacon and maple syrup bit, and then the doughnut later.

Well done on the gears Archie! Our efforts today pale in comparison.

Has anyone else ever sawn 64 knobbles off one side of a mountain bike tyre?

Smoothie maker progress!
I used an old rack, removed from the Ratrike, to provide a frame to mount the blender on to. It will need some more frame to bolt onto.

The motor bearings and armature is welded in place. There is a bit of inner tube on the armature to make it a bit more grippy. You can see the two spacer tubes I made earlier.

I still need to make a wooden board to mount the plastic jug locator onto.

Notice the MTB tyre only has knobbles on one side now!
