Well, the soup was good, although I'm not sure where the 'serves 6' bit of the recipe came from. We ate the lot.

Just letting it go down, before we tackle the pie.

I need some strong :cuppa: please. Over the past week, I have been very careful to make sure my two pussycats are in the house by the time it gets dark. This evening the house two doors up decided to have some fireworks in their garden. It was so loud that it made me jump. So I thought, yes ok, both cats are in.

 I could not find Tasha. Not in her usual places, not hiding anywhere, oh dear*, is she out? No, not responding to my calling her... eek she will be frightened. Just when I was getting really worried thinking she must be out, instead of in, I heard the munching of biskits. ^_^

* This might not be what I really said, but you get my drift.

Soup was :mrpig: very quickly!

There was a bit of confusion over the roasted pumpkin seeds.
From my experience pumpkin seeds need to be shelled before eating as the shell is pretty much inedible. Arch had sprinkled a few in my soup and was eating her's whole!
However, I stand to be corrected with these roasted seeds as they were quite edible whole, and very tasty!

Just back from the local firework display, yes it was loud and full of peeps, thankfully both cats were in when I left and seem fine now.
Walked about 4 miles

The drive home from York was wet and foggy.:rain:

I have now fitted some mudguards on Emily. They are old silver plastic ones that have been scribbled on with pink felt tip pen. They should look adequately rubbish.

I am now trying to figure out how to make a 26" rear rack fit onto Tiddles  while trying to get two weeks worth of laundry done.
:cuppa: break for a moment now.
