That's more like it ;)

Even more exhausting than 25,000 miles in the saddle, I'm now trying to tidy the house

A proper brew and biccy ^_^

Busy day in the workshop.

I made some location cones for Spandex's bike frame jig. I only bothered with the important dimensions so they are a bit random.

Then I brazed Arch's new light weight trailer. With that sorted, and Arch needing it for next weekend, I figured a hitch for her bike would be necessary. So I made one of them too.
I can't believe that took over two hours of messing about to get right, but most of that was hand filing and sanding it to shape.

It is now painted in primer and coupled up to the trailer. I just hope it fits one of her bikes.
Arch has three potential trailer pulling bikes and all three need different types of hitches due to the odd assortment of rear wheel, axle and drop out arrangements.

I also had to unconvert my MIG welder from aluminium welding back to steel to weld that hitch and just as I finished the weld my gas ran out!

I guess I had better go an see BOC and set up an account.

Right, just waiting for Arch to arrive and then it is time for dinner.:hungry:

What a trip. How can a train be 'On Time', and then 'Expected 16.00' and then Cancelled! Did it just wink out of existence somewhere between Church Fenton and York?

So then there's two trainsworth of people on the next train, which is running 15 mins late by Leeds and 25 mins late by Manchester (and I have a 10 minute connection window at Manc, so goodbye Eccles train). Ho hum, get the tram.

Have to wait while 4 trams come and go until the right one turns up....

Ah, well, at least it's not raining. <looks out of tram window> Oh.

Just about starting to feel human now, ready for more :cuppa: shortly.
