Oh by the way, did I tell you that I had a rotten time at the dentist?
(I just know that @wol and @Jo will give me loads of sympathy)

My Arch is absolutely perfect so 'No'.The ballet magazine on the table here has a lead article - headlined.
Can you improve your arch?
Only if you are less fortunate then I am and have to make do with this.(And should you fake it?)
Over to you NT.![]()
I'm looking forward to seeing it.
This is me, after an afternoon spent working on an improved shoulder bag - all in black!
Once I've managed to refocus, I'll cook my dinner....
Here's a bit of engineering output from me today. Not to NT standards of course but I've come up with these:

As is completely obviousthey are mudguard extensions which will replace what I currently have on the knockabout bike:

The tape which was temporarily holding the mudflap on has finally come unstuck with all the spray so I thought a slightly more permanent fix would be a good idea.
I'll fit them later in the week and will put the vinyl mudflap on to the Raleigh.
I'm looking forward to seeing it.
I have been in the workshop drilling stuff with my new 25mm drill bit!
The new bits are made from some 1mm aluminium sheet that we had in the shed (left over from a repair on a caravan if I remember right) which is light and easy to work.Excellent idea. Where do you get the flap material? I used a supermarket meat dish. It's a bit, well, naff![]()
I am making 'sort of 25.4mm seat post clamps' in 24mm thick aluminium. For the amount of effort I might as well have bought some but they are a bit weedy at that size and not quick release.Does anyone else have a vision of NT's house with 25mm holes drilled in EVERYTHING? Like, walls, stairs, tables, curtains...
Nice bit of panel beating there. Here's a bit of engineering output from me today. Not to NT standards of course but I've come up with these:

Thank you!Nice bit of panel beating there.
One of the things I considered was pond liner, but I don't know if it's as thick as I expect it to be or where to get it in small quantities.I made some rubber ones for Emily, my winter hack, but the rubber is a bit thin so I might have to use a detergent bottle.
