Here's a bit of engineering output from me today.
Not to NT standards of course but I've come up with these:
As is completely obvious
they are mudguard extensions which will replace what I currently have on the knockabout bike:
The tape which was temporarily holding the front mudflap on has finally come unstuck with all the spray so I thought a slightly more permanent fix would be a good idea.
I'll fit them later in the week and will put the vinyl mudflap on to the Raleigh.

The old bits are a proper vinyl mudflap off an 80's British Eagle on the front and a section from a lemonade bottle on the rear.

I am making 'sort of 25.4mm seat post clamps' in 24mm thick aluminium. For the amount of effort I might as well have bought some but they are a bit weedy at that size and not quick release.
