There is a waiting list. I have two trailers still to build but I need to do some more load testing yet to see if the brazing of joints is up to scratch. Also I have a new supplier of QR axles and I need to see if the cost saving is at the expense of durability and strength.
Decent small wheels are also a bit costly to come by, unless I use ones with another trailer manufacturer's name on!:headshake:
What a star you are NT ^_^

:hello:

Hope it's still working today.

If it isn't working, can you let us know and we can be rude about you behind your back :laugh:
The tinternet is not working, so you can be very rude complimentary about me without me knowing.

As a temporary measure please send any messages by telegram. You will need to mark them to be delivered in November 1982 please, as we are thirty years behind the Times.

Is that a request to be put on the waiting list?
Give me your requirements and details of the towing bike and I will see what I can do for you.
Bear in mind that I make out of scrap where ever possible so trailers tend to be unique and possibly unusual...
I do have a lot of aluminium tent poles of various sizes at the moment and only one pair of those 26" three spoke wheel chair wheels left but I am attempting to source 16" and 20" wheels.

I've painted & fitted the mudguard extensions today. What do you think?

I'm happy with the front one but the rear is causing trouble as the slight extra weight is causing too much flex in the mudguard due to it being only a single strut fixing. I have an old double strut in the shed and will have to fit that at some point before I can test ride.

I wanted them in black but I couldn't find any in the small stock at home. White will do for the time being and I'll probably remove them and repaint in the spring.

Just make sure you stay well away from any marauding packs of seals you may get some unwanted attention ;)

:cuppa: sounds good.

I've not done as much today, brazed my trailer together so the new draw bar is a permanent fixture and done a little bit of awkward plaster boarding in the bathroom.

I then spent ages looking for more plaster board screws and a working anglepoise lamp, as my 'above sofa' lighting has stopped working.

I have also been negotiating for a job but, alas, it will be voluntary unless I can make it self funding.

Oh well, even a voluntary job might be a good move - get your foot in the door etc.

I'm glad you've slowed down on the DIY, I was beginning to think there'd be nothing left to help with!;)

Today was alright, but tomorrow is potentially going to be hectic and stressful, and that's before I get on a train....
