Merry Christmas everyone!
We've had pork pie for breakfast, presents, and dinner, and wine, and now,

Thanks to all our prep work yesterday (Thanks NT!) I cooked dinner virtually single handed (while NT did a little light re-wiring), and thanks to NT's wizard way with washing up, it was all pretty painless!
We had beef, and roast spuds, and carrots and sprouts and chestnuts and braised red cabbage and gravy and Yorkshire puddings and then Christmas pudding to finish.
Even better, when we feel peckish again, there's more pork pie, and leftover beef for sandwiches.
And the best thing of all is that thanks to a little light plotting and tipping off by my workmates, NT gave me something I'd really hankered after - a whole box of After Eight Mints to myself...
