I've just discovered the concept of Cake Pops. Little balls of cake, coated in chocolate or icing, decorated with chopped nuts or sprinkles. On sticks. Cake lollipops!

I'm very excited. I love cake. I love things on sticks. I'm thinking wedding buffet....

You can buy special tins to bake them in,but I reckon you could scoop the balls out of a bigger cake with a melon baller. Mum has a melon baller.

Even better than cake pops - truffle pops. Well, butter cream but butter cream balls just sounds Wrong. Butter cream dipped in melted chocolate, left to set, then nommed.

And ... one of my friends makes cake pops by scooping out the inside of a muffin (muffin gets filled with butter cream, hence the truffle pop discovery).
