Now, it's been 15 years since Hale-Bopp graced our night skies with cometary goodness. There's a good chance of two naked-eye comets this year - the catchily-named Comet Panstarrs in mid-March, followed by the equally enthrallingly-titled Comet Ison in December, that could (just could) be the brightest one for a few hundred years!!

Too icy for a bike ride...walk round the Quayside market instead to buy pasties from the Pasty Lady... [she needs a holiday somewhere sunny].

Back from my :bicycle: with Marshmallow Fluff of this parish. We tried a new cafe which had good coffee (other :cuppa: are available) and a rather lush lemon cake. Only a few seats, though, so I couldn't really lead a full scale ride out there.
Jeez it was :cold:
