Morning all any tea around? Starting my placement today at 8.30.

The cat alarm went off at 6.16, so I'm up on time.

*wakes up outside of tea room*

*wonders who chucked her out last night*
*could have sworn she curled up on the tea room sofa last night*

*miffed*

Mornings! The new sofa is supposed to arrive today. I'm hoping it's the correct one that turns up - unlike yesterday's fiasco with the dining room table.

Oh, and lost 1lb this week.

Morning all...

Ok baby news flash. (sorry if this is boring you all)
Baby D-Day + 9.
Last night at 10 o'clock 'er indoors started having contractions. 2 hours they lasted, then they subsided. She went to bed, had a few twinges during the night. So at this moment in time she is at the hospital for her 'membrane sweep'. So fingers crossed we will have a little person in the house by the end of the weekend.

OK another update.
'er indoors has just come back from the hospital. They have checked and couldn't do a sweep as the baby is nowhere near ready to make his way into the world. He don't wanna come out this little fella. So she is booked in for an inducement next tuesday.

Blimey.. all this waiting... more tea vicar?

Arch, will it be shiny and luminous pink/orange?

Ergh, seriously wet this morning. Been sprayed liberally with a mixture of water, mud, salt and diesel spillage. We shouldn't have to put up with being doused in noxious liquids to get around, should we?

And speaking of noxious liquids, Tea?

The last days of waiting are the longest... the offsprings will not be held to a calendar imposed on them in terms of 'due date.' Most inconsiderate of them really. Think of it as preparation for their teenage years when they can become most unreliable
