We work in engineering and it is very up and down. Last year 10 people left, 6 were redundancies. Now we are busy again but for how long is anyones guess. Suppliers and customers have gone over the past few years, not good.
Me too Lullabelle, not great times for us either :surrender:

I made it half way, maybe a bit more, through the first series of Lost when it was first broadcast. Tried again last year and IIRC, it took me most of the evening to get through the first episode. I gave up after that.

I've recently started watching Fringe, which took a while to get going but had me hooked against my expectations. Got season 3 of The Killing lined up, but not had the headspace to concentrate on the subtitles, hence picking the soothing tones of Sir David to keep me going. Mind you, the footage of cannibalistic giant tortoises wasn't exactly soothing last night...

I've seen the first 5? series twice over and the final series just the once, was so disappointed with the ending and lack of answers to a lot of the mysteries I couldn't face watching it again

Did see Expendables 2 the other night, :gun: :gun: :gun: and more :gun: might not be a film for girls :girl:

Life on Earth is being repeated on Monday afternoons on BBC2, I've managed to catch the first two episodes. Still as good as it ever was, although you suddenly realise how old Sir David is now - his voice was so much more clipped and RP back then.

I love his use of vocabulary. He has as strong a relationship with words as he does with plants and animals. Not convinced about the sight of him in skimpy swim shorts though.
