Oh I would. Different jobs see. Demarcation. You don't get butlers washing cars, just like elephants don't buttle.

Living in the past there aren't you Arch?:rolleyes: Even Scargill didn't demarcate (did he? :unsure:). I do seem to remember that Jeeves washed Bertie's car:thumbsup: Mind you Jeeves was never a heffalump:laugh:

Jeeves wasn't a butler, he was a gentleman's gentleman. Although he could buttle with the best of them when required.

Ah - yes. I think you are correct re Jeeves. Must fettle my arguments better. :whistle:

Sooooo - those other butlers with whom Jeeves mixed from time to time would wash a car wouldn't they? :tongue:

I don't know, but I think butlers were rather grand servants, and I'm not sure they'd stoop to garage and stabling matters.
