Holy wotsit, sparrowhawk is sitting on my roof eating a chaffinch it just caught just two feet away from my open living room window. Poor birdie but wow oh wow, the hawk is beautiful. I could have reached out and stroked it. And it had fluffy feathers around its feet, like woolly socks.
