D'you reckon I could grow a cheese plant?

Maybe, if I bury a Babybel?

Ningles!!
Another sunny one today, from the looks of it.
I confidently predict sleet at the weekend.
Or possibly a tornado, blizzard, sandstorm...

I predict it will rain tomorrow. The East Yorks CC Posse are going out for a ride...

I would offer tea, but I'm down to my last couple of bags:ohmy:.

That's Dolce sorted. Harumph. Clipped her wing a few minutes ago. She is the flighiest (very apt) hen but this morning was the last straw. She flew at me - directly into my face - it hurt. She will not be doing that again in a hurry! She really is a silly hen. She is so incredibly nervous and seems to think that I am out to eat her alive. Never mind that the hens get fresh water & food every day, the henhouse cleaned daily, fresh greens every day... treats... etc., etc. The other hens are fine and friendly. Dolce is NOT. At least she can't fly at my face now!

If she has, Uncle P, I'm most miffed that she has not managed to work out that yours truly is nothing like Mrs Tweedy! The others have managed this, just not Dolce. Sigh...

Waffles - there's always one that fights back. So now you have to be a bigger bully

Still unwarm here despite the wind now coming up from the SW. 4casters say it'll warm up. We shall see.

Finished my all singing, all dancing bean climbing frame today. Hopefully it will support many many pounds of luverly beans. Daren't plant them out yet tho'.

Tea anyone?

My beans are in pots - my soil is incredibly stony - so I bring them in of an evening when there's a chance of frost. Other stuff in the garden gets covered over to keep the frost at bay. I even cover the cloches.

I am adored by the hens this evening as I am the fount of all treats:- sweetcorn & rice. They love it.

That would work for me too

My beans are also in pots but they aren't allowed out yet. Just not old or responsible enough yet

What, no tea all day!

Just back from a nice ride out with Soltydog and Velocidad, including icecream, meatfilled pastry and tea.

Annoyingly, my computer threw a wobbley while we were in Mr Moos - it sort of recovered later, but I couldn't reset the wheel size. As a result, I topped 132kph at one point on the way back...

I've reset it know, but I fear its days are numbered.

Half thought about a takeaway for dinner, but having had a sandwich at Hull station I wasn't hungry when I got back, so I've been good.

Just got back from a trip to Beamish, which is sort-of near Durham. Went on a train pulled by a replica Puffing Billy (made Rocket look like the height of sophistication...), a somewhat more modern train (still steam though ) and a tram from Newcastle. Sadly, we ran out of time to go down the coal mine.
