What is it doing in the garden?
I make a *wikkid* Banana Creme Brulee. It's fantastic (said he, modestly...)

Just so you do not retire for the evening thinking I have completely lost the plot ;) they are Banana Custards which is a variety of Verbascum plant. I have seven baby plantlets to look after. I have been informed that they will reach two metres tall by late summer.

Current height 6cms, final height 140cms.

134 cms in approx 75 days = nearly 2cms per day. ie 1mm per hour

 I really must get out more.

That's a lot of custard. I shall begin work on a ten-foot-diameter Apple Crumble.
I think I'm going to need a bigger oven.
And a very large pinch of mixed spice.

Can you transpose our posts, and then yours might make a bit more sense? ;)

A ten foot apple crumble sounds like a good idea, until you try and find an oven to cook it in. On the other hand, why are you trying to make an Apple crumble with bananas?

I can't transpose the posts - sorry. The magical Mod powers only go so far, and they don't extend to altering time. Which is a shame, as I could avoid a whole load of stupid things I've done. I could also dish out the lottery numbers for next week...

Sharing the winning lottery numbers would be a mistake!

I have just consumed a very small cheese sandwich. Tea?

As regards altering time. Admin joined this forum in December 2005. The moderators started moderating in 1970. That is very very clever, seeing as wot the tinternet may not have existed (in its current format) then.
One day this will all start to make sense.

Morning all!

It's a beautiful morning here, Mrs Landslide's gone to beat up her fitness instructor and I have the delightful prospect of having dinner cooked for me by my gastronomic friend whilst I'm introduced to his recent addition to the family.

Time for a lunch time cuppa I think.

This place is quiet without Arch around isn't it? Still I bet the server's glad of a bit of a rest
