Yup! I don't tend to get so dirty in my other job. I came home with an extra sort of tan on the bit of my arms that is exposed - the sort of tan caused by fine black crud adhering to sweat....
All showered and clean now.
Ta for the tea 26. My knees are fine, the desert was metaphorical. But if it carries on like this, we'll have to get load carrying camels.

Mended my lawnmower today. Long story involving slipping clutch, seized nuts and 3/8 UNF threads. Suffice to say I feel chuffed

Arch is not the only one to end up in a hot and dirty mess today.
I decided to transfer the contents of the makeshift compost bin (aka a converted dustbin) into the new (made from recycled plastic) fit for purpose bin. How messy could it be?
Well, I started off ok, but as I got nearer the bottom of the old bin, the gubbins got wetter and wetter, and smellier and thousands of flies emerged.
So I ended up hot, sweaty, and smelling like a farmyard. I have had a shower now.

MrWC is feeling the need to have a mid-life crisis
He doesn't want to 'do' a motorbike (nor do I), but we both like weird & quirky. No comments from The Doc please!
So at the moment I'm probably getting a scoot of some sort and MrWC is feeling the urge in another way (ooh-arr-Missus!). Next week, we're off to test a motor trike that you can ride on a car licence...
