Evening!

waffles, I forgot. You were asking about selling your Trice? A chap asked Pete to place a Velo Vision ad for him at the weekend, for the same thing, and Pete suggested an asking price of 2/3rds the new cost.... (You can always lower it if you need to).

VV is a good place to advertise, as people tend to know what they are looking at.

Tea?

Ta!

I'll have a tea with you, Arch. Might share a bun too!

I'm nursing my injuries this evening.
I fell through a floor I was working on and have a huge bruise and graze on the back of my thigh where I landed and also a bump on the head where I hit the wall on the way down.

Ouchie!

Glad you're sort of ok - get well soon!

Been finalising my packing and checking over the bike today. It's the BIG OFF tomorrow. Meditteranean here I come. But it's a mighty long way still.

BTW - how does one get a nice cuppa in Frogland?? It's a mystery I've never been able to solve. In the absence of T I might be forced to drink beer and wine

Find an English person with a house and kettle...

I tell a lie. One lovely Chambre d'hote landlady did us a great cuppa, the day it rained all day and we were soaked through. Proper pots of tea, mugs, and a little plate of biscuits.

Generally, I give up tea when in France, and opt for hot chocolate.

Wow!!! I hassa new tent!!!
It's gotta sewn in groundsheet and curvey poles and is all domey-shaped and weighs 1.6 kg!!!
It's be a really tight squeeze for two unless they knew each other very well (or hoped to by the morning:biggrin:).
But still and all, it's not bad for the price.
Did I mention the price? A fiver.
Tesco Value tents rule.

My heart sinks when I'm served a pot of hot water with tea bag on the side. Don't they know tea is supposed to be made with boiling water:sad:.

I love France, and the French, but I cannot understand why they can't understand how to make a proper cup of tea. I'm forced to suspect that they do know, but refuse to pander to us.

In the case of Americans and so on, it's just rank ignorance, I think....
