Evenings!!
Our Interwebs at work have been broked all day. We've had to talk to each other and do work and stuff.
Well, that and drink Tea. If the kettle had been broken we'd be utterly unable to function...

Well, it's another week passed and once more it's weigh-in at WW... wonder if I've lost anything in the last week. I don't feel any less massive.

Indeed. Sauna beforehand and sweat a few buckets. I've got some birch twigs and know how to use them ..............

Got me upstairs loo working again. I'm flushed with success.

Tried to fit new Yale lock for M-in-Law. Didn't get started really - Silly girl had bought the wrong size. "I didn't know there were different sizes" she says . Ah well that job can keep till the new lock appears

So it was a nice pedal this afternoon

Right, I'm logging off soon, and may not be back until Monday, due to going to Mum's and on Hilldodgers period costume ride.

My local pet food supplies place is very good in that if you've got a heavy load purchased, one of the strapping young men employed at said emporium will offer to carry the stuff to the car for you. This is good. And indeed the delight of a strapping young man being all butch carrying one's goods is a reason to shop there.

However...

Whilst helping an aged country gent (he looked 150 if he was a day) in tweeds, who has to use two sticks to walk, can I suggest to the strapping young man who was carring a sack of something heavy, that addressing said elderly gent as

"Woz' the car dude?"

is possibly not the appropriate form of address...
