Others on here have lost family around this time of year, so out of respect for them & their feelings I removed it over Christmas.
I was going to use the fry-up, but wondered about the effect that it might have had after last night!

I am freezing. We have heating on (19 degrees) and have had to suppliment heating and actually turn the gas fire on which is virtually unheard of. I have huge mug of tea and am considering doing something to warm up like finishing the bathroom ceiling.

How can 19 degrees equate to freezing, unless you are talking degrees F or K? Are you saying that the thermostat is set for 19 but the heating fails to achieve it without backup?

19K would be cold, I'll have to agree on that part.
