I had some waffles last night. Misread 30 seconds for 3 minutes, gave them five minutes in the oven instead of under the grill. (As I had the oven on for something else). Ended up with very crisp Waffles, which needed a large amount of golden syrup to make them edible. Where did I put my timer?
