Settled back in now with a cup of Earl Grey and the gas bill.

Is it very exciting? Don't tell us how it ends, I'm waiting for the film to come out...

I've painted all the silver bits. Just resting my eyes before doing the black. I'm having trouble re-focussing!

I'm painting it on the sprue, so I'll have to touch up once I trim the pieces off...

I have started reading "Attention all Shipping" which I think you recommended Arch. I was reminded about it in the thread about what books people have read recently. Very good, and enjoying it so far. It was in the pile of books waiting to be read.

This afternoon, I have made a start on my form to reclaim some tax. That might be slightly more exciting than a Gas Bill.

My right arm is now starting to ache because of compensating for the left arm. However, my right middle finger is doing a good job of typing for two fingers, except for words with s or d in them. This is important, as we are just fifty or so books short of finishing the cataloguing of the books for the Resource Centre. Even with a damaged finger I am still a faster typist than my co-volunteer.

TIME FOR TEA  oooopd did not mean to dhout, but that is what I keep doing, hitting the caps lock instead of the shift key.

Arch - in case you do not read the Bargains thread, Craghoppers have a sale on-line with good reductions in their winter lined trousers. Normally expensive, in the sale, their trousers are a good price. Or there might be a shop near you that sells them.

Oh, cheers, I'll have a look!

I've finished painting now. I wonder how long it'll be before my eyesight gets back to normal! Oh dear, I'm getting old, and my eyeballs are ossifying...

I've got so much laundry to do, I might have to do it in two batches. So I'll finish my tea, and then go and do some pants...

I have two pairs of Craghopper trousers for wearing in the mountains. They are very hardwearing and are still going strong - I've had the older pair for six years.

yes, I've been wearing the same pair for work for a year now, and they are still great - so I ordered another online when I got Speicher's tip - I had to go for 'cocoa' coloured, as black wasn't in the sale....
