Puma always hisses at him but he is FA's bestest mate, he is a fat cat but can be very well behaved when he wants something

You can say that, but I could not possibly comment (about how well-behaved you are). Just thought, I could ask ColinJ about you. ;) He and I went to schools that were next door to each other. He might be a year or two older than me. Before you ask that would have been the early seventies.

Colin was talking about his age on Sunday, someone who didn't hear the conversation was talking about another forum member being 'old' at 41, Colin wasn't impressed

He will confirm I am a gentleman, I am sure

They were talking about me????!!

I'm knackered. I might summon up the energy to cook something in a minute, but it's been a much harder day at work than I expected....

I could certainly do with a brew.
Tell you what, Arch, you put on a brew and I'll do dinner.

I was at a funeral this morning. One of the technicians at college passed away 12 days ago. He was a really great bloke and only 52 years old.
It was a good service, packed out the church and the crematory.
Phil Lawson will be greatly missed.

If there's any comfort to be had after a death, a packed funeral is one of them. How sad though.

So what's for dinner?

(I know this actually, it's haggis bolognaise, I felt in need of some MEAT, and that was all I had in the freezer that fitted the bill).

Thank you.

Dinner is roast duck, sweet and sour fishcakes and prawns and pork.

Yum!

I'm having a nice cuppa and a chocolate digestive.

Still tired. I expected to be in a meeting all day, but things went awry and I had to go out on the trike in the afternoon, and for some reason I'm tired - possibly because we didn't finish until half an hour late. The other person trike riding was a casual who'd never ridden one before, so I had to ride very slowly (as opposed to my normal 'just slowly'), and keep an eye out for her.

Tea anyone?

Days that don't go to plan are awkward.
I was missing some students and those who were in were quite subdued, especially those who also came to the funeral.
I'm only half sure that I did any teaching this afternoon.

Tea would be lovely, thank you.

I'll add some celebratory cakes to the tea, or celery sticks for those on a diet. Things are finally looking up. I've been invited to two job interviews today and it also looks like I've got somewhere to live in York  . Much as I like my parents I'm ready to move out after being here nearly two months.

I really fancy a cup of tea but it's late. I try not to drink it after about 6pm...

East Yorks- I grew up there. Drank lots of tea in Hull.

It would appear, and I am not quite sure how it happened, but today has been a day off from my diet. I have not gone completely off the rails, but not a successful day. I expect that is an occupational hazard. Anyway, it is not all my fault! That means I can celebrate with cakes one cake. It can be tricky to celebrate with celery, I think.

Good luck with the job interviews, and also I hope the new place to live is a success. I would be ready to move out after two days with my mother.
