I have been cleaning and tidying all day! Yes, tea please.

Today was not doughnut Wednesday, it was Bounty (as in the chocolate variety) day.

The plants in my garden most affected by the freezing conditions, seems to be the biggest ones.

Big mug of tea for Arch in exchange for a biscuit.

Did you get your round finished with the bomb scare?

Where would you recycle a bomb anyway?

We did get done, yes, it all died down eventually.

Hmm, bomb recycling, there's a new material we hadn't got on our list. Tetrapaks, batteries, textiles, bombs....

I can just see Beryl lumbering back to base with a huge comedy bomb on it. Actually, I was out for a ride on Saturday, and we passed RAF Leeming, and there were racks and racks of bombs - the sort that drop from planes - right next to the fence.

We assumed they were dummies.

I'm watching Madagascar (the new Attenborough wildlife thing, not the kids film). Amazing critters. The giraffe-necked weevils are hilarious!

I'm recording Madagascar I love all the BBC nature type programmes, makes a change from the usual mind numbing stuff I usually watch

As I walk in the door of our local Tesco's they have put the doughnuts right there in your face, very naughty but I have the will of iron fortunately

Tea for Speicher!

I forgot about Madagascar. I've been watching Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events. I'll have to get on Iplayer.

I'm just imagining loading a bomb onto Beryl.
If I was driving Beryl this would be the result.
I wouldn't be hanging around for the payload.

Seven points in a Bounty Bar, and about the same in a Toffee crisp*, I would think.

Tomorrow I have an appointment at the Hand Clinic to see how my finger is recovering.

* Just checked the website, a pack of four with a total 172g is 25 points, if you eat ate all four. Or six points each.

I hope the hand clinic goes well.

Fingers crossed, so to speak.... ;)

At least this time, I know where I am going. Last time I took the precaution of down-loading a map of Worcester Hospital from the internet, to find where the clinic was. I was supposed to go to a clinic on level One. So when I arrived at the main entrance, I attempted to use the lift to go up one floor. No stairs were in evidence.

Long story short, after asking a Porter, (who was as confused as I was, and he works there) and a member of the Nursing Staff, level One is the level you enter the building, and Level two is the first floor.

I have a pack of 5, maybe the last one is 'free'

A Mars bar is eight points.

Until you know how many points you are allowed per day, this might be a bit academic. As a female, five foot four and a ½ inch tall, not very active, I get 29 points a day plus 49 points to spread out over a week. That, I hasten to add, is the points, not me, that spreads out!
