Caramel eggs - are they Galaxy ones! Where's mine.

Not many cakes left this afternoon, so I decided to try the Eccles Cakes, no raisin not to.

Dairy Milk Speich, as you only like the Galaxy ones I will have to share them with 2 other tea folk, if only I could think of a couple of people who would want one

Eccles cakes and talk of Marple, are you stalking me?

Did you share your cake with the duckies?

Yes, we had better find some people to join us in here, or we will need to rename the thread.

Where is everyone?

No, I did not feed the ducks or the swans. Lots of people do that, and the wildlife gets very plump. I also saw a large bird of prey, might have been a buzzard.

Also met the new puppy belonging to a neighbour. A black Cocker Spaniel by the name of Digby.
I saw a lovely bright pink tricycle complete with sparkley pink tassels on the handlebars, shame it was too small for me.

I have a chicken roasting in the oven, and ample supplies of Beaujolais to go with it

Although that smiley is more appropriate to last nights dinner in a local pub - IPA, ham egg and chips. Pub food at its best

I've given my KMX 'rat' trike a service today, just while it was sunny. The gears needed a little tweak and the cable clamp on the rear disc brake stripped the threads in tha alloy casting. Not having the correct M6 helicoil I slipped an electrical connector block on the cable to stop it slipping for the time being.
Just need to make it road legal, lights, reflector, etc and then I can plan on getting some miles on it.

I've also stripped, cleaned and rebuilt the transaxle for my tractor. I've make a new gasket for it but I will need to find somewhere to buy the axle oil seals from.

Time for tea I think.

Better be careful, if they met, my Catrike might eat your Rat trike. Or if it's a big Rat, the Cat might just turn tail and run!

I'm ready for my second cuppa now. I keep finding bits of mule hair though.

Mule hair? why have your slippers got hair? and why were you out in them in this cold weather? If you cannot put on the right footwear for the time of year, it is no surprise that you struggle so much to get on the right train.

I am enjoying tea, and a Bounty Bar. I prefer the dark choc Bounties, but have not seen them recently.

I admit to being a very crafty person this evening. There was some very unusual fabric on Ebay, of which I would like some more, and hey presto, it turned up this week. I have been bidding against someone, put in a higher bid about fifteen minutes before the end, to which they responded, as I expected they would. But then, with one minute to go, I put in my maximum bid, I do not think they were expecting that.

I have only ever had two Big Macs. One in Dusseldorf, about 1992, and one in Basle in 2002. There is a very good reason for that. Sometimes, the only restaurants you can find are very expensive and/or very busy. That means I should try to consume one in 2012, but where? Copenhagen?

I have been naughty and had a chocolate chip muffin with my 3pm cup of tea, in my defence it was a present from a colleague so seemed rude to turn it down

Maybe we can designate Monday as muffin day, I think the calories are free is you eat the right treat on the correct day

Speicher- I see I 'bullied' you into the WW thread? Well done, the first step is admitting you have a problem
