One of the problems (or benefits) of using Amazon is that they use very bulky packaging for their books. It does protect the book in transit but does also mean that a paperback can be in A3 sized cardboard.

I guess it is one of the benefits of having a granny flat and an enormous sized letter box.

Just don't mix them up and find yourself with a flat letterbox and an enormous sized granny....

I'm having soup for dinner, only tinned stuff. I had a pasty at lunchtime, and a Danish, so I really don't need a proper dinner...

It is about the kitchens and the visits of Queen Victoria at Big Country Houses in England. (Yes, I know she did not visit the kitchens. )

Oh I hope so I'm a fan of the R4 comedy slot too, though I tend to download a lot of it and listen to it at my leisure.

I have tried uploading the blinking avatar as a downloaded file, but the forum says I can only load an image file.

What does this mean in plain English please?

I wondered about that - I thnk maybe it's not possible to have a gif (a moving image) as an avatar - I can't remember if anyone else does....

You could ask Admin, or ask in Feedback.

I remember the moving insect thingy Hackbike used to have too.
I tried to set it as mine earlier as a test to help but couldn't do it either

I am in tea...with the hope that I can get a virtual scone with cream and jam...have a craving and too much of an extravagance!

It's terrible- I am lactose intolerant so should stay away from the dairy but I LOVE Cream, butter and CHEESE!!
