Evening tea people :hello: Had another great ride with some cc folk, 102 miles and we saw the sea too, lovely day weather wise, and I felt Ok at the end, not my usual shattered self

ps- Colinj wants to know just what we've been saying about his 'sumo' picture

Southport?

It is in Cheshire, I think, (as per my telescope) and by the seaside.

I think that might be a red herring as the company that made the telescope is in Cheshire so the telescope may not have been.

I was more interested in the motorbike meet that seemed to be going on by the drumstick thing with the cyclist on top.

Has Arch joined a motor bike club?

oooh, leathers...

Yes, it's Southport. There were lots of bikers, mostly the middle aged sort! A few Harleys, and choppers and a trike I spotted. I wasn't on two or three wheels however I had the luxury of a friend with a <whisper> car!

Off to bed now. :tired: It has been a busy day, no, not a doughnut day, not even a Waffle day.

The patio is very neat and tidy, the garden table and chairs are now well placed to enjoy the :sun:
Of course  the cats thought I had done that entirely for their benefit.

Good night Arch, Potsy and Night Train.

I have a confession to make, before today I have never had coleslaw but today I tried M&S Coleslaw and I liked it

I like coleslaw, preferably the better quality stuff made with mayonnaise, as opposed to the slightly salad-cream flavour of cheap stuff.

Homemade is best, of course, but I can't be bothered with all the grating! If you made your own, chopped up crisp eating apple is nice addition.

Tea anyone? I made myself go shopping on the way home, and was pleased to find that Sainsburys have Sacla pesto for a quid, virtually half price, makes it cheaper than own brand. I bought three jars

This wasn't just any coleslaw arch it was Marks and Spencer reduced fat colslaw made with mayonnaise that is free from artificial flavours or preservatives  apparently.

I had a wierd dream the other day, someone handed me a small box and it contained a small green felt elephant and I said I know someone who would like that Arch then I woke up it was very strange.

I am afraid you can't have said elephant coz as I said it was a dream so sorry about that.

Good lord! I didn't know I was inhabiting other forummer's dreams!

As an aside, I saw Uncle Phil today, and waved at him, but I don't think he saw me - I don't suppose he'd have been looking for me in Beryl. I'd have pulled alongside and said hello, but as he was on a bike, and a recumbent bike at that, and we were crawling home on an amber level of charge, I hadn't a hope of catching him..
