I had fish last night!! Salmon fillets, loosely wrapped in foil and baked, with sauted potatoes, carrots and tzatziki.

Might do corned beef hash tonight - I have some potatoes left over

I had chinese takeaway. I'm on holiday!

We had beer after work, that's always dangerous.

Now, I need a cuppa and I'll be getting into bed for the evening.... Gosh, I know how to live....

On the one hand I am tired and want to oo to bed early.

On the other hand, by Monday I have to write the second half of a 2000 work essay, produce a 15 minute presentation on class room behaviour issues, write my lesson plans and rationales, design a student satisfaction survey for a class, work out my thesis question and do my end of year accounts.

I might have time for a cuppa somewhere.

Did you mean to post this in Colin's 'getting old' thread Arch ;)
This is the young and trendy 'tea' thread

......this is 666 pages long...are we onto the devil's tea?

Had some chocolate and have noticed in the last few days that the sugar really does make me feel a bit crap immediately after..

Am off to have some tea - cuppa anyone?

I expect that watching Gardener's World will instantly rule me out of being young and trendy.

* ignores Posty's comments about young and trendy *

Ah yes, hot chocolate, would make a change from Tea.

How long are you on holiday for Arch? Any plans? Besides Max's christening?

Max's christening isn't until May, but I am going to my sister's for the week on Monday!

So I'll come back relaxed, but exhausted!

No, I do not remember Percy Thrower. Monty Don is back on Friday evenings, and he is describing plants in words I can understand, and plants that are easy to find.

He seems to like the same plants as I do, Buddleia Black Knight, Cotinus Coggi? and Hellebores.
