I'm going to get up soon. Then I'm going out to potter round the shops. What on earth am I going to get my Bro in law for his birthday?

Is there any tea left? I feel as if I have a Tunnock's hangover

I'll be putting the kettle on shortly, after I'd had my chocolate milk.

Still not got Bro in Law a present. I have an idea, but I'm never sure if I'm gettin g it right. I texted sister to ask if there was anything, and she said he's getting a bit Xmas present so he's not getting birthday presents. But I really feel I should take a token something - which is why a token seems like a cop out...

Tomorrow is my last ditch foray to the shops... I'd get him a couple of bottles of nice beer, but I have to carry whatever I get on the train. Suppose I could slip them down the side of my rucksack.

I can sympathise with the Tunnocks hangover.
I once got through a pack of Tunnocks Caramel Wafers in an evening
The following day I thought I'd permanently wrecked my jaw, it ached that much
And yes, it was a pack of 8

I am going out shortly to procure a pressie for my Mother. Chocolates I think, or a very posh Easter Egg or some flowers? I do not normally leave things til the last minute, but it has been a very jumbled up week, in many respects. I think I will go on holiday on Monday.

Might get myself some choc while I am out.

The beer idea is a good one, shows you've put a bit of thought into it and is something that's always appreciated.

Best give any remaining Tunnock's to me for safe keeping Baggy
Thanks potsy, but, er, I won't be needing any help

Chapeau! I'd struggle with Caramel Wafers, but the Tea Cakes slipped down too easily.

All 10 of them
