Come on then, all this tea - what brand(s) do you drink? I like the co-op's 99 tea. Don't know why, but it hits the spot perfectly.
I have Twining's Earl Grey 95% of the time. The rest of the time I have whatever is offered to me.

I was just locking the compound gates at lunchtime, when I looked down and saw there was a teabag on the ground. Interested? ;)

I spent an hour after work wandering around the Early Learning Centre and WHSmiths looking for a christening present for Max, and an un-christening present for Oli for this weekend. I ended up with a set of chunky racing cars, a pack of felt tips and a colouring book, which I'm trying not to play with!

Ready for a cuppa now, once I've washed up.

I need a brew.

Tired and headachy.

I spent the early evening upside down in the foot well of my car removing the broken clutch pedal that I did a temporary repair to ten days ago. I welded it back together and refitted it. Such an annoyingly fiddly, awkward job.

At least it is done now.

Sounds like a very messy and awkward task. I hope you have now changed gear, into some clean clothes.

I can imagine the footwell of a car is a fiddly place to work, if you're more than 4" tall. Which I think, from memory, you are...

Even I know NT is about my height, and I've only met him the once...

Just back from a rather chilly and hilly WNRttP. Due to a few mechanical issues, I had the stark choice this evening of the SS or the Brommie. I chose the SS. It was...character-building.
I appreciated the beer all the more. I felt I'd earned it.

Thanks for the tea.
I'm definately more then 4".
I was 5'9 3/4" tall when measured in the morning. The long arms don't help, 6'2" wingspan.

That's a lot of wing!

Which reminds me. A colleague and I were driving back to base yesterday along the road beside the river Foss, and as we stopped in a traffic queue we saw two adult geese in the water, honking and calling to the bank, some 4 or 5 feet above. As we watched, a small gaggle of fluffy goslings emerged from the shrubbery, and dithered on the edge - the parents were obviously calling them to jump. They dithered for ages, and then just as we were moving off, one brave one pushed forward from the back and leapt, his ickle wings flapping uselessly. He made it fine, but all the rest turned and retreated! It was very sweet, and pure chance we were able to watch it.

Hits head against the wall, I had the choice of voting for all green candidates today in our ward, however do to exam worries I only voted for one. Dam it. I'm glad I managed to do the AV vote though and pick the right choice.
