Went to a steam fair today. Had two beers yesterday. :-) Has been a good weekend.

Just two weeks left of my contract at Stockbridge left, looking forward to going back to waking up at a later time as the early mornings are having an affect on both of us.

Ooooh, which one?
I'm hoping to make it over to Pickering.

I went to one recently and watched a Traction Engine driving a circular saw as logs were wound through it.

I'm more usually a walker but cycling is easier on my feet.

The killer, I think, is standing in the workshop. Concrete floor, I should get some rubber mats.

   You have a murderer in your workshop?

I think that something stronger than rubber mats may be needed. Sledgehammer? Pick axe?

Not too bad now. The previously sore part now is pain free mostly except when I put a lot of pressure on it. However my big toe joint is now quite sore, I think form over use walking on the inner edge of my foot.

Of course, if you really did have hooves, you'd only have the one toe anyway!

Except that unicorns, of course, actually have cloven hooves, so you would have two toes.

It's a problem with bipedalism, that having one foot out of action tends to knock on in all sorts of ways as you favour it. Intelligent design? Bah!

Not at all, Speicher. Perish the thought!!!

NT - might I suggest a more trainer-styled toe-tector?
I've got some which are actually quite comfy.
I appreciate that you need steel toecaps - I've tried lifting a KMX before and it's not for the faint of heart...

Technically, whether with a hoof or a cloven hoof all the toes are still there internally.

But yes, Unicorns effecively have two toes in their cloven hooves, big toes and littler toes.;)

Bipedal? I seem to remember spending a lot of time walking about using my forelimbs.

If Intelligent Design was actually anything other than rubbish thought up by fundamentalist right-wing God-botherers, then the connections to the human retina would be behind it, not in front where they interfere with the optics...
