Yes, that is a lovely bike. But it is too far away for me to test ride etc. Anyway I think it is now sold.

All I'll say is. N+1....

But not got my hands on it yet, so have to be patient.

She got me to go and have a look at it earlier as it is only a few miles from me.

Jealous? You betcha. I only wish I saw it first.

It is in lovely condition, just needing new cable outers and a small spot of rust treating on the seat post clamp.

Well, if you ever need to borrow it....

Thanks ever so much for looking at it for me. It's always a bit of a gamble, especially when, like me, you're not a seasoned Ebayer...

I can haz a Brommie!

And it's red!!!! Red bikes are 12.4% faster, it's been scientifically proven.
(May contain traces of lie.)

My Brommie was feeling a tad sluggish earlier. Then I checked the tyre pressures.
Down to 50 psi.
One quick pump up to 110 psi later, and normal nippiness is restored

I can't help feeling that more than that changed hands, and the auction was therefore pulled.
Possibly. I don't know what happened, obviously.

After the discussion on mugs earlier, thought Chuffy's review of these Tour de France Mugs might amuse some of you. It made I larf!

Very good!

Yes, I paid more than that for the Brom, negotiations being done over the phone via my Manchester proxy. Thanks again NT!

He says it just needs a few bits of routine servicing doing, and he's looking after it for me until I can collect it. I'm hoping this doesn't mean it'll have turned into an electric folding tractor by then.... ;)
