Lunch made and packed, now awaiting Mother Dearest and Friend (30 mins late and counting) for a quick beverage and pee stop (their words!) before spending a couple of hours tootling around on the steam train. If they get here before the train leaves, of course.

Evening peeps.
A very wet ride home bloomin typical, it was dry all night then 10 mins before the end of my shift it starts raining and hasn't stopped yet

Feel better now I've had a recovery milkshake and some leftover chicken for supper(shared it with the fat cat)

Tesco have started selling that 1% fat milk that Arch (I think) has mentioned before, tastes great and will be in my shopping basket from now on

Is that different to skimmed milk, or semi-skimmed then? I have skimmed milk in tea and in my porridge. Semi-skimmed in co**ee. It is delivered three times a week by the milkman in recyclable clear glass bockles.

Edit: the milk is in the bockles, not the milkman.

Doesn't actually say skimmed or semi skimmed anywhere, just says 1% fat.
It's about 40 calories less per pint than Semi-skimmed (so every little helps), see what I did there?

I have skimmed in everything but bought semi-skimmed yesterday for the Parental Visit. I'm finishing up the last of it now and I don't like it!
