Chuffy's just made another 2 bananana loaves! He forgot to put milk in the mix, but they've still turned out nicely. I agree that they're fairly healthy, as cakes go. Suitable for freezing, too :becool:

I used half the quantities in that recipe, as I was not sure about freezing bananas. I did not need to put in any milk, probably because the eggs I use are rather on the large side (not that eggs have a side, yes, I do know that). I could make some more cakes, and freeze it in small chunks. Reheated, with ice cream, is a suggestion that springs to mind.

Mmm, or with vanilla custard...

Sorry, now about NT's project, a tractor, you say?

That looks as impressive as anything, NT!!
WTF is it? Not that it *needs* to be anything, but (knowing you) I bet it's something...
I must get on and make my FWD 'bent. I have a chassis for it, and most of the extra bits. I just need some bent ply to make the seat, and a spare weekend to hack it all into shape.
I'm aiming to follow the WobblyJohn methodology - bolt loads of random sh1t together, and them saw off anything that doesn't look like whatever it is you're trying to make

It is the mk2 back end for my tractor.
Built around a Wheelhorse transaxle with Land Rover Discovery front hubs and brake discs, Ford Puma front disc calipers and a 9" diameter motor from a 2.5 ton forklift truck.
The 9" motor is an 'upgrade' from the 7" golf buggy motor I was using before, when I broke it.
Now I have a stronger axle and more power and torque.

Here's a back view from earlier on showing the hubs and brakes.

This is it before the original transaxle broke due to pulling wheelies!

Me playing with it just before I broke it.

NT- that is some lovely bit of kit you've got!

Tea anyone? I'm stuffed - had a lovely home made pizza with no cheese and a bit of fruit crumble- a little too full.

I'm liking the sound of the banana cakes!

Hands tea to NT.

Sups more out her own cup.

I am sat on the sofa all bloated..I am so full I could fall asleep (lots of cycling up hills today too) - this is real gluttony
