More tea please folks. It's going to be a long night. Young Henry has croup and is not a well little peanut.

Oh, poor chap. Is he having to have a steamy room? I seem to recall that being a thing to help the breathing...

yes, we have had the hot taps running in the bathroom to make a steam room. That relieved it for a little. He's sleeping now, but with very rattly breathing. Poor mite.

Joy of Joys. The leader of the council wants to come out and work with us next Tuesday. This is leading to some careful thought about who does what, so as to avoid loose cannon issues. My boss said he's keen to get me involved, partly for my upright and tactful nature no doubt, but also 'to play the woman angle'.

Ah sorry Jo, just seen this.
We had a fretful night, he slept for an hour or so then woke up wanting reassuring, back to sleep and repeat.
He was happy enough this morning, though goes through phases when he feels sorry for himself and just want's cuddles.

Am off work tomorrow to look after him.

You want to be careful about those: someone might slip and fall on them. Or NT might find a fettling use for them. Or Potsy might eat them.
