Morning :hello:

You may notice I am not my usual happy, complimentary, inoffensive self for the next 30 days, please don't take it personally.

Jo and Baggy have been picking on me for no good reason too, just 'cause I pointed out a slight error in Jo's calendar  I know she often comes across as someone who doesn't know what day it is, but I thought she would know the year at least

Tea and toast Doc? With a bit of scrambled egg? (On the toast not in the tea) :hungry:

Time to get a brew going I think.

Don't think I will be serving it this way though.

Looks a bit weak that tea, I like mine so strong you have to slice it

Done a bit of bike *fettling*, been to the tip to get rid of some rubbish, and am now thinking about having a catnap before tonights shift.

* Really need to sort the back wheel of the hybrid out but am a bit scared to touch it, wheel truing is not one of the jobs I am looking forward to trying

Wheel truing isn't too difficult. Just set yourself some time to do it and tackle it methodically with only small tweeks on the spoke key. That way if it still isn't right then it won't so wrong that the bike is unridable.

If you need it doing for you then Spandex is your man. Alternatively I can do it being closer to you then he is.

You two are right I'm sure, just need to set aside some quiet time and have a go I guess.
It's on my winter bike so won't be too upset if it gets messed up anyway, there's a definite wobble of 3-4 mm side to side, so far cured by moving the brake pads a bit further apart

3-4mm? That's a lot!.

Still, opening up the brakes would sort it.;)

Or go for drum or disc brakes, no more problems with wobbly wheels.

I know, only noticed it the other day as I haven't ridden it since I fell off it
Could the fall have caused it or would it likely have been there anyway?

I'm wondering whether the recent off-road routes on it have been a bit too much for it, after all it is a relatively cheap bike with skinny-ish tyres (28's) the sooner I get my CX the better.

:hello:
