There was an upholstery student who sewed through his fingers at college. Another stapled his thumb to the bench. Neither were in my classes.

Today, it's Horse Drawn Carriages, followed by Pet Food. Bit tactless, I thought...

Ah. Apparently someone has just 'soldered' the ends of an iron wheel rim together. That was one heck of a bright soldering iron...

He used 2" long glued staples. A teacher had to cut the corner off the bench off and send him to hospital with it.
