The 'water' was actually just sand in suspension.
That was in the 'tank trap' at Bovington. I drove there, watched all the bigger trucks drive through and though I'd join them. I was doing fine until I stopped for the photo and then couldn't get moving again. Took two Range Rovers and a Land Rover to pull me out, and also about 100m of rope.

The water was as deep inside as it was outside. While driving through I was frantically emptying my pockets onto the passenger seat to keep things dry.

I object to Lindor truffles on the grounds that the TV advert with Roger Federer being ogled by the female customs officers is sexist. They'd never be allowed to make one like that with male officers and a female tennis player.

I have yet to decide whether to refuse one if offered, but I suppose as long as I don't BUY any, my protest is made....

How about you take the offered ones but instead of eating them post them to me instead?
That way we're both happy (see how thoughtful I can be?)
I have no objections about sexist advertising, and even if I did I would make an exception for these
Saying that, I have yet to buy any this year, concentrating on eating this big box of shortbread biscuits first

Yes, he is very selfishly going away for Christmas, think I'll give it a miss, don't want to be the only one struggling up the hills
