Arch, I mentioned the craft fair and what you were doing to some cycling friends of mine and they immediately started raving about bike tyre belts so I think it could be a winner for you. And another vote for Etsy: all my crafy friends use it and rate it.

I'm feeling very domesticated. Have had a bath, taken a hedge trimmer to my legs and changed the sheets on the bed. Rewarded self with shortbread. I think there are some crumbs left if anyone fancies them....?

I'll have a crumb if there is one!

I'm hoping that after Christmas I'll be able to make a load of belts, they definitely seem to be winners!

Darnit, the need to earn a living at my actual job does get in the way. Still, I will have one day a week free now, so I can spend it crafting, and perhaps eventually replace the lost income.

If you invest in all the kit you need to make them quicker, it may end up being a better use of your time.

As you get better at making stuff and faster, you'll become more productive - I made a shedload of weird mutant soft toys- I have a glut of them I need to sell and used to make jewellery/clothes etc Just been lazy recently.
