I've been for a ride. Only a mile and a bit but one has to start these things slowly.
Have been sneezing and snotting since I got in, must be that cycling allergy I have.

Still, I have tea now.:-)

On the subject of weight loss I was feeling peckish and was dithering over what to snack on. I figured jelly beans would be high in calories so I had a slice of dry bread at 78kcals.
I could have toasted it but that adds energy to the bread!

Just checked the jelly beans, only 8.34kcals per bean. I could have had several jelly beans and enjoyed it for less then the slice of dry bread!

Random question ... going up into the Quantocks with some friends tomorrow. Before meeting up for a camping style BBQ, one group will be walking, one will be doing some hard core mountain biking and the third will be doing some gentler MTBing. I'm told the choice is mine. Leaning more towards shank's pony, if only so I'm not worrying about the dog trying to follow me but have just hoovered and changed the sheets so am in no fit state to make a decision
