Night Train, I would also be not looking forward to working with someone like that as a Director.
I think that building and painting the sets OR being in the play would be sufficient, definitely not both. You should be able to enjoy it, without it being too draining.

On a lighter note, I have found some new scales that I am thinking of purchasing. I have posted a pic in the "Off the Scales" thread, but thought peeps on here might like to see them. I think they will suit me down to the ground. ;)

I know, but also I don't want to let the rest of the cast down by leaving part way through.:sad:

That's no good, it is showing 68.9 somethings and there is nothing on it.;)

The skills for designing sets, building them and painting them are probably, well in my estimation, rarer than acting skills. Not that I have any confidence whatsoever in my ability to remember lines.
How long is it till the play is on? Could a new person "catch up" with the part?
