Cool, thanks. Might be a nice place to head for in the summer, when I've got a little fitness back...

It is a nice cafe and there are usually loads of cyclists around. I mostly pop in and grab some lunch when I am riding over askwith moor from harrogate then drop down from the top of the moor and you end up on the back road between ilkley and otley which is the road the cafe is on and it is well sign posted.

How was the cake ride, Jo? Was the cake worth it?
I didn't have cake in the end! I was so cold by the time I got there that I went for scrambled eggs and toast and felt so virtuous that I talked myself out of anything else. Regretting it now, of course!

Couldn't you have brought your bit of cake back for us? :hungry:

Does anyone know where cakes go when they die?

I purchased a rather large cake for my Aunt's 90th Birthday ( she's in a home so friends, relations and staff to be catered for) but she was rushed into hospital with a gall stone the night before.

Having bravely chomped my way through 2/3rds of the cake it's appeal is starting to wane and I would like to dispose of it humanely.
