Do you ever stop at the cafe over Ye Olde Chemist Shoppe in Knaresborough? They do some of the biggest scones I've ever seen!

No never been in there arch, to be honest I dont really do cafe stops on rides under 60 - 70 miles coz usually I am fitting them in between jobs, so I just nick out for a few hours then try to get back before I have to go to another job.

I will be doing cafe stops when I resume my 100 milers when the weather gets warmer, never used to bother but I have found if I stop for an hour at the half way point and get some lunch I feel fine when I have finished instead of just collapsing in a heap

Also in summer most of my rides are in the evening after I have finished working so no where is open then.

I arranged and led a forum ride with three stops in 50 miles - one of them was a pub, but I'd brought cake.

Only four at least six cake stops

I did say at least four cafe stops. Six would be fine but I didn't want to sound too organised.
Anyway, the saddle bags for the Harribo makes up for any cafes that may be closed or short of cake.

I'm racking my brains to think how I could arrange 6 cafe stops in 10 miles. It's 10 to Stamford Bridge and then another 10 to Pocklington... I can think of at least 4 in Pocklington though, so we could do all of them, then Stamford Bridge on the way back, yes, that would do it. And that's only 40 miles!
