Mum and I were once staying in a B and B in Ullapool, and at breakfast met a German couple, who needed help with the breakfast menu...

Them: Vot iz 'kipper'?
Us: It's a sort of smoked fish. Strong flavour, bony.
Them: Ah. And vot iz 'porridge'?
Us: It's a sort of paste made from oats...
Them: Ah. And vot iz 'black pudding'?
Us: Ah! You'll like that!

And they did.

Handbags made from inner tubes (made two so far this weekend, and just about to do another), blanks for belts (trimming the tyres down and punching holes for the rivets and buckles), and possibly some keyrings from the tyre offcuts. Oh, and I got hold of some nice clean virgin chain links gfrom Spandex, so I might make some earrings...

I sound busier than at work, but there's a lot of drinking going on...
