Hmmmm, I got up early to get ready to help a friend paint his dining room. I got there and he didn't answer the door, his bedroom curtains are still closed so I guess he is still in bed!

Oh well, :cuppa:

 So annoying!

I've had one of those days too. I set off to drop off some stuff at the pop up shop and ended up being there for more than an hour setting stuff up and trying to help them understand the till. Not helped by the manual they had apparently not quite matching the till they have....

Then off to Bike Rescue, where I spent another age (maybe an hour..) sorting through their scrap pile for materials, and then slow ride home with 26 tyres and a boxful of inner tubes. I had a vague idea that I'd do all that and be back home by 10.30, but I got in about quarter of an hour ago...

Ah well, time for a bowl of soup and a :cuppa: and then I can get on with some manufacturing....

I'm knackered now! I've put buckles in a load of belts, and only mildy sliced my thumb in the process. There are a few really tough ones I'll have to take over to NT and his enormous vice.

My nose is getting bunged up, so I think I've got a cold coming on. Joy.

I'm going to cook a big portion of chilli tonight, to feed me over the week. It would be spag bol again, but I'm clean out of spag. I have rice though. :hungry:

I had a telling off from the GP this afternoon.

I mentioned having nose bleeds and he decided to check my blood pressure. After the machine beeped, my GP exclaimed out loud. He doesn't normally get excited about anything. Apparently my blood pressure was high enough to surprise him. He took it again to check, and then again with a higher setting on the machine just to be sure.

My blood pressure is definitely high, much too high for my normal.

My GP has told me that I am not resting, as I should be, and I am still doing too much and I have to stop whatever it is I am doing and rest more. His words were '"Chill out, relax, unwind, do nothing, certainly do less of whatever it is you are doing that is making it [my blood pressure] rise and get it down for another test in four weeks.".

I have been told.:ninja:

Just as well too as today I have been thinking that my friends need to start realising that I have time on my hands because I am ill and not because I am available to do stuff.

Yes, NT you should chill and take things easy.....camomile tea, perhaps? Have you tried one of those BP machines from Boots - I've got one and when I feel that my pressure is a bit high, I sit and relax, think of blue sky and try and make it come down.
I think my dad has one, I'll check.

I will have to relax properly though, I had been until I started feeling more alive and then took advantage of that by doing loads of stuff.

Arch, seriously speaking, the weekend was probably too much, in hindsight, given I wasn't well before I got there. Not your fault though, I should have not done so much.
