I have not been in here all day, and I am still getting the blame for something, when I do not know what it is.

The Easter Egg has lost its structural integrity. It is very thick chocolate. I very nearly had to call for assistance from NormanD, to help me break it open.

Leo, the cat, had a fight with another, unidentified, cat early this morning. At first I thought he had badly damaged one of his front paws. The vet found a big puncture wound at the top of his leg, (the cat's leg, not the vet's leg ). Leo had a antibiotic injection, and now has some painkillers.

My mother is progressing well in a convalescent home. She won first prize in a "Decorate an Egg" competition. Bearing in mind she is partially sighted, you will never guess how she decided to decorate the hard-boiled egg. I will give you a clue, she used a thin blue felt-tip pen.

I once decorated an egg for a friend, I painted it dark green, with wheels along the long side and brass dome and funnel and a tuft of cotton wool along the top, to make it look like a steam loco. The perspective was odd, but it sort of worked.
